Dog Pram FAQS
Dogs love spending time with their owners. There are varying reasons for when a dog pram can be indispansible and a game changer for both pets and their owners including when your dog is recovering post injury, elderely dogs or keeping them safe during outings and for anxious dogs.
Some dogs take to their stroller straight away while others need time to familiarize themselves and claim their chariot. Here are some tips on introducing your dog to their stroller. Most dogs end up loving their pram becasue for them it equates to adventures with their bestie, attention from bypassers & treats.
Ensure the stroller provides ample space for sitting, turning, and lying down comfortably. If you have a puppy, factor in their adult weight. Make sure you dog is well within the weight limit capacity of the dog stroller. Measure your dog from collar to rump and compare that to the cabin stroller length.
We also recommend you check the dimension of the cabins length & width. Tape the measurement out on the floor or use a cushion with similar dimensions, then place your dog inside the taped out area or on the cushion to gauge how comfotable she/he will be able to lie down. In the case where your dog has a long or lanky torso, it is more challenging to find a good fit. If you are not sure, please feel free to contact us for recommendations based on your breeds size & weight.
