Used as a car seat, the Atom's PPRS Handilock restraint system secures your pet so they cannot be thrown in a collision or hard stop, while helping to absorb and reduce the forces reaching them. This is not a marketing claim: the Atom is put through the same dynamic crash testing used to certify child safety restraints, tested to US, Canadian and EU child-safety standards, and independently certified by the Center for Pet Safety for pets up to 12 lbs.
