Thank you for being a loyal and valued customer to Pets Own Us during 2020. Your satisfaction is very important to us, and we hope we have been successful in providing you with excellent customer service and products in 2020.

As well as the continuing challenges of the Covid 19 Pandemic we also had to plan for the implementation of Brexit in January. The vast majority on new regulations and procedures around Brexit have been successfully incorporated into our day to day operations.

However significant delays have been experienced at ports and borders between the UK and the EU due to unexpected port closures in December and continuing unprecedented levels of freight traffic causing a backlog which is taking some time to clear.

These delays are unfortunately having a knock-on effect on our lead times for delivery of orders. Until the end of February we anticipate lead times for delivery of orders to be delayed. This is purely due to the time it takes goods to clear through customs to get into the UK. 

In addition to the delivery delay issues, the cost of transporting stock has been negatively influenced by additional paperwork required and as such will have to adjust some of our pricing.  We will do our best to mitigate as much as possible.
