Full-body support built for the biggest, bravest dogs.
The Walkin' Wheels Full Support (Quad) Large supports your big dog at the front and rear in one strong, fully adjustable frame. Whether they're recovering from injury, getting older or living with disability, it gives them a real new lease of life. Push-button adjustability in height, length and width, with puncture-proof, all-terrain foam wheels. Suitable for large dogs roughly 31-82kg (70-180lb), with five rear leg heights for a precise fit.
Full support or rear support?
A full-support (quad) chair like this one carries your dog at both ends: the right choice for dogs who are weak or unsteady at the front as well as the back, living with a neurological condition, or who have lost a front limb. If your dog's front end is still strong and only the back legs need help, the Large rear-support chair is lighter and less expensive. Already own a rear Walkin' Wheels? Don't buy a whole quad: the Large Front Wheel Attachment converts it.
Is a wheelchair right for my dog?
A wheelchair gives dogs back their favourite thing: moving under their own steam. For big breeds, owners choose full support for degenerative myelopathy, neurological conditions, weakness at both ends, recovery after surgery, front-limb amputation, or advanced age. A few honest notes: introduce the chair gradually and supervise early sessions, and your dog should be able to hold their head up comfortably. It's a tool that works alongside your vet's advice, not instead of it. Unsure whether your dog needs full or rear support? Ask us or your vet first; we'd rather help you choose well than sell you the wrong chair.

How it works
Four wheels carry your dog's weight front and rear while their legs rest in soft, washable support rings, so they can move, sniff and explore using whatever strength they have. The chair arrives sized to the options you pick, then fine-tunes with simple push buttons: height, length and width all adjust in seconds, no tools needed. The frame folds flat for the car boot, and every fabric part goes in the wash.

Your questions, answered
What's the difference between a quad and a rear wheelchair?
A rear wheelchair supports only the back legs and relies on a strong front end. A quad like this one supports all four corners, for dogs who are weak or unsteady at the front too. If only the back legs need help, the Large rear chair is the lighter, cheaper choice.
Can a wheelchair really support a giant breed?
Yes. This frame is rated for dogs up to 82kg (180lb), built from aircraft-grade aluminium and braced for big bodies. Great Danes, Mastiffs and Newfoundlands use Walkin' Wheels every day.
I already own a rear Walkin' Wheels. Do I need a whole quad?
No. The Large Front Wheel Attachment converts your existing rear chair into a full quad for a fraction of the price.
Is it suitable for dogs with an amputated front leg?
Yes. The quad design supports the shoulders where a limb is missing while letting your dog exercise their back legs as normal.
Can my dog go to the toilet while in the wheelchair?
Yes. The chair is designed so wees and poos happen naturally without anything getting in the way, one of the first worries every owner has and one of the first things they stop thinking about.
How long can my dog stay in the wheelchair at a time?
Start with short, supervised sessions and build up gradually as your dog gains confidence and fitness, following your vet's guidance. The chair is for active time: take it off for rest and sleep.
What if I measure wrong or it doesn't fit?
The frame adjusts across a generous range, so small measuring wobbles are usually absorbed by the push-button sizing. If something's not right, message us on WhatsApp with a photo and we'll sort the fit together, backed by our fair, transparent returns policy.
How do I clean it?
All the fabric parts (leg rings, straps) are washable, and the aluminium frame and foam wheels wipe clean after muddy adventures.
