The zip-out floor and side panels can be removed and hand-washed with mild soap; hang to dry. Wipe the trailer frame and shell with a damp cloth. Do not machine-wash fabric panels. Always ensure the Quick-Attach hitch is fully locked before setting off. Check the hitch connection before every ride. The trailer is designed for use with bicycles only - do not attach to motorised vehicles. Keep dogs secured inside the trailer at all times during use. The trailer should not be used if the frame or hitch arm is damaged; contact Thule or Pets Own Us before riding.

How does the Quick-Attach system work?
The Quick-Attach hitch connects to your bike's rear axle with a one-handed action - no tools required. Mounting and dismounting takes seconds. The connection locks securely before use and should be checked before every ride.
Which size should I choose?
The Medium is suited to dogs up to 35 kg. If your dog is larger, or if you'd like more room, choose the Large. If you're unsure, message us on WhatsApp with your dog's weight and breed, and we can advise.
Can I use it to train my dog at home before the first ride?
Yes - and Thule actively recommend it. Remove the wheels and hitch arm, rest the trailer on its plastic base, and use it as a home den with treats and familiar items. The more comfortable your dog is with the space at home, the more relaxed they'll be on the bike.
Can I use it without the bike as a stroller?
Not without the optional Strolling Kit accessory (sold separately). With the Thule Bexey Strolling Kit fitted, the trailer converts to a pushchair-style stroller, making it ideal for parks, trails or anywhere bikes aren't allowed.
Is the rain cover included?
No - the Thule Bexey Rain Cover is a separate accessory sold alongside the trailer. It clips on fully and keeps your dog dry in wet weather.
How do I keep it clean?
Zip out the floor and side panels and hand-wash with mild soap, then hang to dry. The outer shell and frame can be wiped down with a damp cloth. The fully removable panels mean keeping the Bexey fresh is straightforward even with regular use.
Is it compatible with all bikes?
