The K9 Sport Sack Sky switches between hands-free backpack carrying and a horizontal pet carrier. Walk through the terminal with your dog close, then convert the pack for the next part of your trip.
Ready for travel, with comfort built in
- Two carrying modes: an upright dog backpack that converts into a horizontal carrier.
- Designed for airline travel: made to fit beneath many airline seats, subject to the airline’s rules and the size selected.
- Practical construction: durable 600D gridstop fabric, mesh ventilation and a plush base.
- Secure and organised: safety clips, an angled backpack base and two water-bottle pockets.
Choose your dog’s backpack size
Maximum dog weight: 13.6 kg (30 lb). This is the Sky model's capacity limit, subject to correct fit; it is not a weight-based size recommendation.
Check three things before choosing: weigh your dog; measure back length from the base of the collar to the base of the tail with your dog standing; and measure chest girth around the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs. Use back length to choose your starting size, then check chest room and sitting height. Being below the weight limit does not guarantee a comfortable fit.
Between sizes or broad-chested? The manufacturer recommends sizing up where needed and using a suitable K9 Booster Block to achieve the correct sitting height. Ask us for help with your dog's back length, chest girth and weight before ordering if measurements fall between the ranges.

Practise before travelling
Introduce both carrying modes gradually. Follow the supplied fitting instructions, check closures and security clips, and allow regular breaks. For upright backpack use, K9 Sport Sack recommends 30–45 minutes at a time. Plan the full journey around your dog’s comfort.

If I change my mind, can I send it back, and who pays?
Yes. You have 14 days from the day your order arrives to tell us you would like to cancel, and another 14 days to send it back. That is your legal right on any online purchase, not something we have added. For change of mind orders, it is the buyer's responsibility to cover return postage, but we can arrange the postage for you for a small deduction from any refund. We will always confirm the figure in writing before you send anything back, and you are welcome to arrange your own return instead. We refund what you paid for the item, plus any standard delivery charge. Please send things back in a resaleable condition. If something is wrong with your order, we cover the return carriage, nothing is deducted, and you choose whether you would like a refund, a replacement or a repair. Will I get confirmation of my order?
As soon as we receive your order, we'll send out confirmation to your email address. This means we've received your order in our system, and we've pre-authorised your payment method, ready for your purchase.
I placed my order but did not receive a confirmation email. Why?
If you recently placed your order and didn't immediately receive a confirmation email from us, then there might be a few issues we can look into: 1. Our emails might be going to your junk or spam folder. 2. There might have been a misspelling when you entered your email address during checkout. 3. Your email server has very strong spam filters and is identifying our emails as spam so the emails aren't going through. If any of these are happening, we encourage our customers to provide an alternate email to support@petsownus.co.uk
How long does it typically take for your products to be dispatched?
Our delivery times vary depending on the product and supplier. Please review each product page for accurate fulfilment timeframes. Some items offer next-day delivery, whereas some can take upwards of 10 business days to arrive.

We deliver anywhere in the UK (United Kingdom).
