This wheeled support is a life saver, our large breed shepherd is suffering DM and declining mobility, normally you would start thinking getting close to life ending of the dog.
This has changed that, our dog at first was a bit unsure and clattered about like a bull in a china shop, now she is enjoying getting about, we have a county park as our back garden, and she gets about the paths easy enough with the large wheels.
You have to take time to set it up, watch videos and trial and error, you must also watch your dog for signs of needing the toilet especially pooping, it's very hard for them so learn the signs.
Now enjoy a while longer with your best 4 legged friend :)
Very responsive to my questions before ordering Walkin Wheels for my German Shepherd. And better price than the shop I was originally thinking of buying from.
Absolutely excellent service. Lexi took to her wheels almost immediately, without any fuss. Best thing ever.
After being unable to go out due to dragging, bleeding back paws bought some boots then the swaying about crossed leg and bouncing like a kangaroo was so bad we decided to go for it!
She is a very awkward German Shepherd who’s never liked being brushed at the back end let alone having boots fitted so didn’t expect her to take to this ‘machine’ easily!
How wrong we were!!
The worst part for her was setting the adjustment up as she can’t stand up for long but we got there, it was almost as though she knew we were trying to help, we took her out for very short walks to make sure it was well adjusted but from the very first walk she loved it and was off…no looking back.
A great piece of kit that goes up and down kerbs with no problem and of course her favourite…THE BEACH!!
absolutely delighted with this robust and cool-looking 'doggy trolley' (as we call it) - dog uses it without any fuss, after a few days to aclimatise to his cool new wheels, and he's a lot steadier on his feet, and seems to be in less pain too, as a lot of pressure is off his hind quarters. Its a considered purchase, but, when we saw the change in our pet, we're glad we've given him this extra comfort and joy. When he no longer requires it, we hope to pass it on to another. thank you
